  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Victoria

    You'll touch down in Victoria and get picked up at the airport for transport to your hotel. Once you check in and get settled, you'll meet the other guests and your Tour Director at a welcome reception later that evening.

  2. Day 2

    Victoria

    Start with a quick orientation tour through Victoria, then head to The Butchart Gardens for the rest of the day. You'll walk through the Sunken Garden, Japanese Garden, and Italian Garden, checking out the floral displays and plants at this famous spot.

  3. Day 3

    Victoria to Whistler

    Drive to Chemainus and board a ferry across the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay. From there you'll follow the Sea to Sky Highway toward Whistler, stopping at Shannon Falls along the way with nice views of the Coastal Mountains.

    Whistler

    Whistler to Sun Peaks

    After breakfast, you'll head through the rugged Cariboo region on the way to Sun Peaks, a mountain resort in the British Columbia interior.

    Sun Peaks to Jasper

    Travel on the Yellowhead Highway through alpine scenery toward Jasper National Park. You'll pass Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, before getting to Jasper.

  7. Day 7

    Jasper

    After breakfast, the day is completely yours in and around Jasper National Park. You can choose from some available activities or venture out on your own to explore at whatever pace feels right.

    Jasper to Lake Louise

    Drive the Icefields Parkway, which is one of the world's most scenic highways. You'll stop at Columbia Icefield for an Ice Explorer ride onto Athabasca Glacier, then continue to Lake Louise, known as the 'Jewel of the Rockies'.

    Head to Moraine Lake (if weather cooperates) to see its glacier-fed waters, then continue into Banff. This afternoon you'll do a sightseeing tour of this charming alpine town.

    Banff

  11. Day 11

    Banff to Kamloops

    Board the Rocky Mountaineer train in SilverLeaf Service with large panoramic windows. You'll travel through the Spiral Tunnels and Kicking Horse Canyon, arriving in Kamloops late afternoon. Check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring or relaxing.

    Get back on the Rocky Mountaineer for the train journey heading west toward Vancouver and the Pacific. You'll have great views of Fraser Canyon, the Coast Mountains, and Fraser Valley. Pull into Vancouver late afternoon and spend the next two nights here exploring on your own.

    Vancouver

    At Sea

    Juneau, Alaska

    The ship docks at Skagway, at the far north end of the Inside Passage. This old frontier town was once a gateway to the Klondike, and it still has stores and saloons from that era. You can learn about gold prospecting or see local wildlife on a tour.

    Glacier Bay National Park, Alaska

    Wake up to views of Glacier Bay National Park with its massive rivers of ice, wild coastline, and sheltered fjords. Local rangers come on board to explain the geological features and the wildlife you'll see in this World Heritage-designated park.

    Ketchikan, Alaska

    Overall the tour was well.planned and places we visited were beautiful. The accommodation was first class but the quality of the food was poor given the reputation of Fairmont Hotels being exclusive. It was the only disappointing aspect.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 120 days prior to the departure date of your tour.
