Johannesburg to Marakele National Park
You'll be picked up at Johannesburg Airport and driven about 4 hours northeast through Limpopo Province to reach Marataba Safari Lodge in Marakele National Park. The lodge sits in a malaria-free zone, so that's one less concern. After settling into your tented suite, you can start getting to know the reserve with two daily activities on the schedule. Game drives in open vehicles, bush walks, and boat trips give you different ways to see wildlife. There's a relaxed feel to the place, and your private pool area overlooks some really nice landscapes.

Landmarks/POIs Marakele National Park - Days 4 - 6
Marakele to Kruger National Park
An early morning drive takes you back to Johannesburg, then you'll fly with SA Airlink down to Skukuza Airstrip. From there, an off-road vehicle brings you to Tinga Safari Lodge on the edge of Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which connects to Kruger National Park. You're staying in a private 2-bedroom villa with your own pool and butler service. The real benefit here is having a dedicated safari vehicle, tracker, and guide who tailor each drive to what your family wants to see. Beyond game drives, you can do bush walks, stargaze, attend game talks, have breakfast in the bush, or enjoy picnic lunches and bush dinners.

Landmarks/POIs Kruger National Park Sabi Sand Game Reserve - Days 7 - 10
Kruger National Park to Cape Town
An early game drive and breakfast happen before you head to the local airstrip for your flight to Johannesburg, then onward to Cape Town. You'll be transferred to Redcliff House, a private residence with 4 bedrooms, a dining area, lounge with fireplace, and a pool. Day 8 brings a drive up Table Mountain (weather permitting) with your German-speaking driver, followed by time at Kirstenbosch Gardens and a picnic. Day 9 takes you around the Cape Peninsula via Chapman's Peak Drive to Cape of Good Hope and the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, then late lunch in Kalk Bay. Day 10 is yours to relax, and in the evening there's a special African dinner at Gold Restaurant with transfers included.

Cape Town to Johannesburg
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Cape Town Airport for your departure home. Your time in South Africa, from the safari lodges in the north to the coastal attractions around Cape Town, comes to an end.
