- Day 1
Passau
You'll arrive in Passau and board the MS SE-Manon to begin your river journey. After settling into your cabin, there's a Captain's reception to attend where you'll meet fellow passengers. Later in the day, the ship heads downstream toward Engelhartszell, so you can start getting comfortable on board and enjoy your first evening cruising the Danube.

Tulln
This morning you'll cycle from Engelhartszell Abbey downstream along the former Treppelweg, a historic towpath. If you're interested, there's an optional ferry ride through the Schlögen Schlinge, a dramatic hairpin bend in the river. After cycling, you'll return to the ship for the cruise onward to Linz and Tulln.

Your cycling route today heads to Klosterneuburg Abbey where you can see its Baroque church and the Verdun Altar inside. After that, you'll continue on to a wine tavern in Kahlenbergerdorf and take a short vineyard hike with views overlooking Vienna. The scenery here shifts as you approach the capital.

Later, take a break at one of Vienna's traditional cafes, where you can settle in with coffee and watch the city go by.

Today's cycle takes you through the Wachau wine region, one of Europe's most beautiful river landscapes. You'll pass through small villages, see wine terraces carved into hillsides, and come across castles and monasteries along the way. Dürnstein with its distinctive blue Baroque tower and Melk Abbey are highlights of this particularly scenic section.
