  1. Day 1

    Santiago de Compostela to Malpica

    You'll arrive at Santiago de Compostela airport and get transferred to your hotel in Malpica. Spend the rest of the day settling in and getting ready for your hiking adventure along the Camino dos Faros. This gives you time to check your gear and grab an early dinner before heading to bed.

  2. Day 2

    Malpica

    After breakfast, your first hike starts from the lighthouse at Malpica port. You'll walk along unspoiled beaches and through fishing villages, dealing with some steep ascents and descents before reaching the Punta Nariga lighthouse. The hike brings you back to Malpica for the night, so you can rest up and grab dinner.

    Ninons to Ponteceso

    You'll transfer to Ninons to begin the second hike. The route takes you through diverse landscapes with lonely bays, past the cliffs of Cabo Roncudo, and through the village of Corme where you can see prehistoric rock paintings. Later, you'll relax on Valares beach before heading into Ponteceso for the night.

    Rio Anllon to Laxe

    The third stage begins at the mouth of Rio Anllon. You'll check out ancient buildings in Borneiro and Dombate, climb up Monte Castelo, and then continue down to Laxe beach where you'll spend the night. It's a good day for seeing some history mixed in with the coastal scenery.

    Laxe to Arou

    This is the shortest and easiest stage of the trip. You'll visit Monte da Insua and the Laxe lighthouse, then hike uphill to Soesto. From there, enjoy time on the beautiful beach before moving to Praia de Traba with its lagoon. You'll walk along spectacular rocky terrain to Camelle and Arou, then transfer to Camarinas for the night.

    Arou to Camarinas

    Starting from Arou, you'll hike through the heart of Camino dos Faros along the 'Crust of Death'. The route follows the coast with scenic viewpoints, passes the Cemetery of the English, and leads you to Cape Vilan lighthouse. You'll end up at Camarinas port for the night.

    Camarinas to Muxia

    Today's stage is completely flat but it's the longest of the entire Camino dos Faros. You'll walk along the Camarinas estuary with wide views of traditional villages and pristine landscapes. The route passes Rio Grande and the beautiful Praia Lago before you reach Muxia for the night.

    Muxia to Cape Tourinan
