Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands
Your hotel in Kuala Lumpur has you picked up around 8:30 a.m., and then you're driven toward Cameron Highlands. The route includes stops at Batu Caves, where you'll see the Hindu temple carved into the limestone cliffs, and Lata Iskandar waterfalls for some scenic photos. By afternoon you'll check into your Cameron Highlands hotel, leaving the evening open to settle in and rest after the drive (roughly 2 hours from KL).

Cameron Highlands
After breakfast, you spend the day exploring Cameron Highlands on an organized tour. The morning takes you to a Scottish-owned tea plantation where they explain the tea production process, then stops at local vegetable and strawberry farms. You'll walk through the morning market to see what locals buy, visit a butterfly farm, and check out the rose garden. A walk around Tanah Rata town gives you a feel for the area before heading back to your hotel by 4 p.m., so you have free time to relax or grab dinner.

Cameron Highlands to Penang
You can sleep in or take a slow morning at the hotel. By 11 a.m. you'll need to check out, then around 1 p.m. the drive to Penang begins to your separately booked hotel there. The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic, so you should arrive by evening around 7 p.m. This wraps up the organized tour portion of your trip.
