Itinerary
- Day 1
San Jose
Your tour director meets you at San Jose International Airport and drives you to your hotel. The rest of the day is open - you can explore the capital at your own pace or stick around the hotel to settle in. If you want a guided tour of San Jose, that can be arranged.

San Jose to Tortuguero
After breakfast, you'll travel through Braulio Carrillo National Park heading toward the Caribbean coast. Then you'll board a boat and travel through scenic canals to reach your lodge in Tortuguero. Following lunch, a guided nature walk gives you chances to spot wildlife. The next morning, take a boat to Tortuguero town to check out local shops, then join a two-hour guided boat tour through Tortuguero National Park looking for birds, monkeys, crocodiles, and rainforest creatures.

Tortuguero to La Fortuna
After breakfast, you'll head by boat to La Pavona dock, then by vehicle to Guapiles for lunch. From there, continue to La Fortuna and the impressive Arenal Volcano. The following morning, join a guided excursion to El Silencio Private Reserve where you'll walk along volcanic stone paths to the best viewpoint and explore rainforest trails looking for toucans and monkeys. You'll have tropical fruit snacks before heading back, leaving the afternoon free for rest or optional activities.

La Fortuna to Monteverde
After breakfast, transfer to Arenal Lake for a scenic boat ride with views of Arenal Volcano, Chato Hill, and the Tilaran mountain range. You'll then head to your hotel in Monteverde. The next day, explore the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve on a two-hour guided walk through wind-sculpted elfin woodlands and rainforests, watching for the Resplendent Quetzal and other birds. The rest of the day is yours to do as you like.

Monteverde to Manuel Antonio
You'll transfer to Manuel Antonio for two days of leisure time. Relax on the Pacific coast beaches and take scenic hikes through the national park trails while looking for rainforest animals. If you'd like to stay longer, additional nights can be arranged.
