Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Koshi Tappu
Your hotel pickup happens at 8 am for the drive to Kathmandu's domestic airport. The flight to Biratnagar gets you there mid-morning, and from there it's about an hour to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp. After lunch, you'll head out on foot around the Saptakoshi river with a guide looking for birds, then settle in at camp for dinner.

- Day 2
Koshi Tappu
A 5:30 am wake-up call gets the day started, followed by a nature walk around camp before breakfast at 8 am. From 9 am to 6 pm you'll be on a raft boat trip along the upper Sapta Koshi River with a naturalist. The river has water birds, water buffaloes, dolphins, and different water habitats to see. You'll have a picnic lunch along the riverbank, and after that there's a short drive to Koshi Barrage for more bird watching and dolphins. Back at camp by late afternoon for dinner.

Koshi Tappu to Kathmandu
Wake at 5:30 am for an early morning bird watching session in the nearby jungle, then breakfast at 8 am. After that you'll transfer to Biratnagar Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. From the domestic airport, your hotel drop-off brings the trip to a close.
