You'll arrive at Nikola Tesla Airport where someone will pick you up and take you to your hotel. After you check in, the rest of the day is completely yours to rest and get ready for what's coming up over the next couple of weeks.

Belgrade
Your first full day in Belgrade mixes walking and driving to see the city's key spots. Start on Knez Mihailova Street, then drop into the oldest tavern to try traditional Serbian coffee and rakija. From there you'll head to Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park for views over two rivers, then check out New Belgrade's bold Brutalist buildings and the Temple of Saint Sava. The day wraps up with a sunset cruise along the Sava and Danube rivers.

Fruska Gora NP - Sremski Karlovci - Novi Sad
You'll head north to explore Vojvodina's wine region and landscapes. This morning takes you through Fruska Gora National Park with its 17 active monasteries, including Krusedol. You'll see Sremski Karlovci's Baroque centre and visit a local winery for wine tasting with Bermet, the region's signature wine. Later you'll get to Novi Sad where you can walk through the pedestrian zone, see City Hall, and check out Petrovaradin Fortress before heading back to Belgrade.

- Day 4
Timisoara - Sibiu
You'll cross into Romania and drive to Timisoara, called 'Little Vienna' for its architecture and culture. Spend time at Unirii Square and Liberty Square with its historic opera and theatre. The drive through Transylvania offers mountain views as you head to Sibiu, a wealthy fortified town with medieval walls, narrow streets, and the Brukenthal Museum.

Sinaia
This morning you'll have coffee on Sibiu's cobbled streets before continuing through Transylvania. You'll check out the Astra National Museum Complex, one of Europe's largest open-air museums showing rural life. Then comes the scenic 90 km drive along the Transfagarasan built in the 1970s, followed by a cable car ride to Balea Lake. You'll finish in Sinaia, known as the 'Pearl of the Carpathians', home to the famous Peles Castle.

Peles Castle - Brasov - Bran Castle
Start with Peles Castle, the Neo-Renaissance summer residence of King Carol I with its exquisite turrets and hand-painted stained glass. Then it's on to Brasov, founded by the Teutonic Knights, where you can walk down one of the world's narrowest streets toward the Gothic Biserica Neagra. Next comes Bran Castle, known as Dracula's Castle, a 13th-century fortress on a 60-metre cliff. You'll return to Sinaia by evening.

Bucharest
Explore Bucharest, nicknamed 'The Little Paris' for its wide tree-lined boulevards and Belle Epoque architecture. Leave Bucharest and drive into Bulgaria toward Veliko Tarnovo. Walk the cobblestone streets to see the history of the Second Bulgarian Empire and its architecture. You'll have free time in Plovdiv this morning before heading to Sofia, Bulgaria's capital where onion-domed churches mix with communist-style buildings and Ottoman influences. Nis - Belgrade
You'll head back into Serbia, starting in Nis, birthplace of Roman Emperor Constantine the Great. Check out the Nis Fortress, Serbia's largest and best-preserved Turkish military fortress, then walk through Tinkers Alley, the only remaining part of the old market. Have lunch with local southern Serbian food like cevapi and sarma. Later you'll drive to the Resava Valley and visit the medieval Manasija Monastery, a fortified complex with towers and walls, arriving in Belgrade with your evening free.
