Itinerary
- Day 1
Dhampus Phedi to Forest Camp
Your guide meets you at the hotel lobby for a quick introduction, then you'll drive about an hour to Dhampus Phedi. From there, the trek starts with a steep climb up stone stairs toward Dhampus village at 1600m/5249ft, where you'll see the Annapurna range spread out in front of you. After that, you'll walk through subtropical forest and gradually gain elevation until you reach Forest Camp at 2600m/8530ft for the night.

Landmarks Dhampus Annapurna - Day 2
Forest Camp to High Camp
This morning you trek through cloud forest with mosses, lichens, tree ferns, and orchids covering everything around you. Natural openings give you views of Hiunchuli and Annapurna South, with the Modi Khola Valley visible below. After lunch at Badal Danda, you'll face a steep climb out of the forest onto a grassy ridge that's sometimes snow-covered. From there, Annapurna South and Machhapuchare come into view looking quite close as you reach High Camp for the night.

High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp
Starting early after breakfast, you trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp. If weather cooperates, you'll reach 5000m/16404ft where Mardi Himal's crest separates you from Machhapuchare's south face. The ice fields and blue glaciers of the Sanctuary Wall spread across your view, with a panoramic line of mountains from Dhaulagiri to Ganesh Himal visible. Then you trek back down to Low Camp for the night.

Low Camp to Landruk
After breakfast, you trek downhill to Landruk at 1500m/4921ft on mostly steep descents and stairs. The route takes you through rhododendron forest with clear views of Annapurna South and Himchuli. Once you arrive in Landruk, you'll rest and spend the evening walking around the beautiful Gurung village.

Landruk to Ghandruk
You hike down to Modi Khola, which marks the border between Ghandruk and Landruk villages. A newly built bridge gets you across, then comes a steep uphill climb to Ghandruk, a Himalayan village known for its Gurung people. You'll check out the Gurung Museum there, which holds traditional tools and preserves local culture. Spend time exploring the village itself.

- Day 6
Ghandruk to Tadapani
After breakfast, you hike through the village on a scenic trekking route heading toward Tadapani via Bhaisi Kharka. The route gains elevation to this small settlement where one or two lodges offer a spot to rest and recharge. After a short break, you continue hiking through rhododendron forest, eventually reaching Tadapani for the night, with the option to continue toward Annapurna Base Camp later if you want.

- Day 7
Tadapani to Ghorepani
You hike to Ghorepani, which means 'Horse Water' in Nepali. Walking along a small spring, you'll pass through Deurali where locals sell yogurt or cold water to refresh yourself. The views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains from Deurali are beautiful. After that, you descend for roughly 45 minutes to reach Ghorepani for the night.

- Day 8
Ghorepani to Pokhara
Wake up early and hike 1 hour from your lodge to Poon Hill, the famous viewpoint here. Weather permitting, you'll catch the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains. After hiking back down to Ghorepani for breakfast, you trek all the way down to Hile, passing through small villages like Banthathi and Ulleri. From Hile, you drive back to Pokhara to finish your trek.
