Itinerary
- Day 1
Taipei
You'll arrive in Taipei and get settled into your hotel. After checking in, the rest of your day is open for exploring on your own. With your Taipei Metro Pass in hand, you can hop on trains and get around the city however you'd like. It's a good chance to wander the neighborhoods, grab some food, or just get your bearings before the guided tours start.

- Day 2
Taipei - Pingxi
Meet your guide in the morning and head out on the Pingxi Branch Line train. You'll visit Jintong, walk through Pingxi Old Street with its traditional shops, and make your way to Shifen Waterfall along with other spots on the route. Later in the afternoon, you'll take the train back toward Taipei with your guide, then make your own way to the hotel from there.

Taipei - Yehliu - Jiufen
Start with breakfast, then travel to Dharma Drum Mountain, a significant Buddhist center in the area. From there, you'll head to the small town of Yehliu to see the unique rock formations at Yehliu Geopark. By evening, you'll explore Jiufen Village and take in views of the northeast coast before heading back.

Taipei - Taroko Gorge
You'll travel to Taroko Gorge, where a deep gorge cuts through marble formations creating quite a landscape. On the drive back toward Taipei, your group makes stops at Swallow Grotto, Gorge Gateway, and Eternal Spring Shrine to enjoy the natural scenery and take photos along the way.

Taipei - Sun Moon Lake
Head to Sun Moon Lake traveling via the Central Cross Island Highway. Once you arrive at Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, you'll take a guided tour and visit Wenwu Temple. After that, you'll check into your hotel for the evening.

Sun Moon Lake - Tainan
Spend your morning exploring the Sun Moon Lake area at a relaxed pace. Later, you'll drive to Tainan, a city that served as Taiwan's capital back in the 16th century. Once there, you'll walk around the old streets, stop at Anping Fort, and see how tradition and modern life mix throughout the town.

Tainan - Kaohsiung
Continue exploring Tainan in the morning, then drive south toward Kaohsiung, Taiwan's largest southern city. Along the way, you'll stop at Fo Guang Shan Monastery and have a vegetarian lunch before arriving in Kaohsiung.

Kaohsiung - Taipei
Check out the Dragon and Spring Pagodas in Kaohsiung, then walk around the Lotus Pond Scenic Area. After that, you'll start traveling back to Taipei, and the group stops at Lungshan Temple along the way to see the temple and its surroundings.

Take a guided walking tour of Taipei using the Metro to get between stops. You'll see Baoan Temple, Confucius Temple, the shops and energy of Dihua Street, and head up to Taipei 101 to see the city from above.
