Itinerary
- Day 1
Durres - Vlora
You'll start your Albanian adventure in Tirana with a guided walk through the city center, taking in Skanderbeg Square and the main landmarks. After that, you'll drive to Durres to see the ancient Roman Amphitheater and Byzantine City Walls, then head down to Vlora. Stop by the Museum of Independence to learn about Albania's path to freedom, and you'll have some free time later to walk along the Adriatic Sea before settling in for the night.

- Day 2
Llogara National Park - Himara
Start your day with a beach walk in Vlora, then drive about an hour to Llogara National Park where lunch is waiting. You'll take a scenic trail that shows off views of the mountains and sea from different angles. From there, it's a drive along the coast to Himara, a small seaside town where you'll check in and have the rest of the day to relax on the beach or wander around.

- Day 3
Drimadhes Beach - Porto Palermo - Saranda
After breakfast, you're heading to Drimadhes Beach for a quiet seaside break. Then you'll drive to Porto Palermo to see Ali Pasha Castle, which dates back to 1807-1808. From there, you'll drive through several traditional villages like Himara, Qeparo, and Borsh where citrus and olive groves fill the landscape. You'll arrive in Saranda by evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

- Day 4
Blue Eye - Gjirokastra - Berat
Leaving Saranda, you'll stop for an hour at the Blue Eye, a natural spring with intense blue water that's quite striking. Next, you're driving to Gjirokastra, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site with a historic bazaar and castle that gives you panoramic views over the city. You'll also see Skendulaj Fortress and its Weapons Museum, plus the Ethnographic Museum housed in Enver Hoxha's old home. Later, you'll drive about 4 hours to Berat to explore its Ottoman architecture.

- Day 5
Karavasta National Park - Tirana
You'll explore Berat Castle, which goes back to the 6th century BC, walking through three main neighborhoods called Mangalemi, Gorica, and Kala where you'll see churches and frescoes along with a calligraphy school. The old town has cobblestone streets to wander, and you'll have free time to check things out. Then it's a 2 hour drive to Karavasta National Park where there's a 36 meter wooden observation tower offering wide views. You'll learn about 230 bird species living there, including endangered curly pelicans, grab lunch, and then head back to Tirana, which takes about 2 hours, ending your tour.
