Itinerary
- Day 1
Miami
You'll arrive in Miami and have several options for your first day. Head to the Art Deco District in South Beach to walk through the historic architecture, or check out the Miami Seaquarium if you want to see marine life. Ocean Drive is perfect for a stroll with plenty of shops and restaurants, and the beaches themselves are great for swimming and relaxing. By evening, you'll get settled into your hotel for the night.

- Day 2
Miami
This day is completely yours. You can stick around Miami and see attractions you might have missed, hit the beach again, or just take it easy at your hotel. The city has plenty to offer whether you want to be active or just chill out. It's a nice break before you head south.

- Day 3
Miami to Key West
Early on, you'll drive the famous Highway 1 down to Key West, covering about 175 miles through 42 bridges over turquoise water. Once there, you can take a trolley or the Conch Train to get a feel for the island, or simply walk around Duval Street in the old town and soak in that laid-back Caribbean vibe. The drive itself is pretty special, so don't rush it.

- Day 4
Key West to Naples
Heading back north on the Overseas Highway, you'll stop at state parks in the Keys for a picnic or snorkel at John Pennekamp Coral Reef Park if you're into that. Later, you'll make your way into Everglades National Park via the Tamiami Trail and stop at Everglades Safari Park for an airboat tour to see alligators up close in their natural habitat. After that, you'll drive to Naples, about 250 miles total, and spend the evening enjoying the relaxed beach town atmosphere.

Naples to Clearwater
You'll drive north along the Gulf Coast to Clearwater, roughly 165 miles from Naples. Clearwater gets a reputation as one of Florida's sunniest spots, so the odds are good you'll have nice weather. Breakfast is included today, so grab that before you hit the road or once you arrive.

Clearwater to Orlando
It's a short drive from Clearwater to Orlando, only about 90 miles. Orlando's the heart of Florida's theme park scene, so you'll get checked into your hotel and settled in for the next couple of days. This is a quick travel day, so you'll have time to rest before things pick up.

Orlando
Today you're diving into Orlando's theme parks. You can choose to visit Disney parks, SeaWorld, or Universal Studios depending on what interests you and your family. There are tons of rides and attractions for different ages, so plan ahead if you're going to multiple parks. You'll want to wear comfortable shoes and bring sunscreen because you'll be on your feet most of the day.

Orlando
Another free day to do whatever you want in Orlando. Hit up more parks if you didn't finish yesterday, or just relax by the pool at your hotel and recover from all that walking around. Some people use this day to check out other attractions outside the major parks or just enjoy a slower pace.

Orlando to Fort Lauderdale
You'll travel to Fort Lauderdale, about 205 miles from Orlando. Fort Lauderdale has earned the nickname 'Venice of America' because of all its canals and waterways, so you can explore the city by water cab if you want something different. If you're interested, you can also head over to nearby Palm Beach to see where the wealthy folks hang out. It's worth the drive if you have time.

Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale's beaches are open year-round and perfect for swimming or just lounging with a book. Beyond the sand, there's hundreds of spots to eat and shop, so you'll have no shortage of things to do. Spend the day however you want, whether that's beach time or exploring restaurants and boutiques.

Departure
Return your rental car and head to the airport for your flight home. Make sure you leave enough time for the car return process and airport check-in before your departure. Safe travels.
