Delhi
Your driver will meet you at Delhi airport and take you to your hotel. You'll have the afternoon and early evening free to wander around India's capital on your own terms. At 6 PM, you'll gather with the group and your guide for a welcome meeting to go over what's ahead.

- Day 2
Delhi to Agra
This morning covers sightseeing through Old and New Delhi, stopping at Humayun's Tomb and Jama Masjid, then the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib temple. You'll take a rickshaw through the bustling Chandni Chowk bazaar before driving to Agra. After checking into your hotel there, the rest of the day is yours to relax.

Agra
Start with a visit to the Taj Mahal, the white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan back in the 17th century. From there, you'll head to Agra Fort, the massive red sandstone fortress filled with Mughal architecture and structures worth seeing.

- Day 4
Agra to Karauli/Dholpur
You'll travel to either Karauli or Dholpur, stopping for lunch along the way. Your accommodation is at a heritage palace - either Palace Bhanwar Vilas in Karauli (built in 1938 with Oriental and Art Deco design) or Raj Niwas Palace in Dholpur (known for its red sandstone and Rajasthani style). The afternoon is free to walk the palace grounds or, if interested, attend the evening Aarti prayer.

- Day 5
Karauli/Dholpur to Jaipur
The drive takes you to Jaipur, the UNESCO-listed Pink City. When you arrive, the afternoon is spent touring the City Palace and then the Jantar Mantar Space Observatory, which has 19 separate astrological instruments you can see.

- Day 6
Jaipur
If you're interested, there's an optional early morning hot-air balloon ride available. Later in the day, you'll take a jeep up to Amber Fort for a guided tour. After that, you'll visit a cotton weaving house to watch the fabric dyeing process in action.

You'll head to the airport for your flight to Mumbai, India's largest city. Once you arrive and transfer to your hotel, you'll have the rest of the day free to settle in and explore at your own pace.

Mumbai
This day covers some interesting sides of Mumbai, starting with the Dadar Flower Market, one of the country's largest. Next is Dhobi Ghat, an open-air laundromat where thousands of workers wash clothes daily. You'll take a local train ride to see how commuters get around, grab lunch at a local spot, then visit Dharavi Slums to see how people live and work in this entrepreneurial community.

You have the full day to yourself in Mumbai. Several options are on offer if you want guided tours: a half-day covering Colaba and the Gateway of India, a boat trip to Elephanta Caves and Elephanta Island, or a Bollywood-focused tour with dance performances and a film screening at the Regal Theatre.
