    Beijing

    You'll arrive in Beijing and get picked up at the airport for a transfer to your hotel. After settling in, you can either rest from your flight or take a walk around to get your first feel for the city.

  2. Day 2

    Beijing

    Following breakfast, you'll spend the day visiting Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. If you're interested, there's a tea ceremony available or you could check out the pearl market instead. Either way, you'll head back to your hotel by evening.

    After breakfast, you'll travel to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. You can walk the wall and take in the views, then stop at a tea house before moving on to the Summer Palace. The gardens there are nice, and you'll get views of Kunming Lake before returning to your hotel.

    You'll explore Beijing's hutong alleyways in the morning after breakfast. In the afternoon, you'll head to Beijing West Railway Station to catch a high-speed train to Xi'an. Your guide will meet you at Xi'an North Railway Station, and you'll get checked into your hotel.

    Xi'an

    After breakfast, you'll visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum to see the thousands of ancient terracotta figures. Next, you'll stop at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and a jade factory to learn about stone craftsmanship. The rest of your day is free to do as you like.

    You'll arrive at Shanghai Railway Station early and have breakfast at your hotel. Then you'll explore the old town, which dates back 400 years to the Ming Dynasty. You can see the Yu Garden, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, walk along The Bund for the city skyline, and shop on Nanjing Road.

    Suzhou

    After breakfast, you'll visit the Humble Administrator's Garden from the Ming Dynasty, then head to the Lingering Garden, one of China's four most famous gardens. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. You'll also see the historic Panmen City Gate and take a 45-minute canal cruise before returning to your hotel.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before February 4th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 4th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with TUI China. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and TUI China will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
