- Day 2
London to Strasbourg
This morning you're off to St Pancras International to catch the Eurostar to Paris. Once there, you'll switch trains and continue by rail to Strasbourg. By evening, you'll have dinner at a local restaurant in town.

Landmarks Chur - Day 4
Poschiavo - St Moritz - Chur
Today you're on the Bernina Express, riding through Alpine scenery with snow-capped peaks and turquoise glacial lakes all around. You'll stop in Poschiavo to walk around its pastel-colored houses, then continue to St Moritz for free time. Later, you'll head back to Chur for dinner at your hotel.

Chur

Landmarks Chur Old Town - Day 6
Chur to Brig
You'll travel on the Glacier Express, watching classic Swiss landscapes roll by including meadows, vineyards, and forests. The train crosses the impressive Landwasser Viaduct and passes through the Rhine Valley. A two-course lunch gets served at your seat during the ride. Later, you'll climb over the Oberalp Pass before arriving in Brig.

Landmarks Landwasser Viaduct Oberalp Pass - Day 7
Zermatt - Brig
You're heading to Zermatt, a car-free resort town. You'll take the train south along the River Rhone to Visp, then make the steep climb up to Zermatt. At the Air Zermatt Heliport, you'll see behind-the-scenes alpine rescue operations. After that, you have free time to wander the town's timbered buildings and English church. If you want, you can take the Gornergrat Mountain Railway up to 3,000 meters for views of the Matterhorn. You'll return to Brig for dinner.

After that, you can explore Brig on your own or use your Swiss Travel Pass to venture elsewhere for the rest of the day.

You'll head to Spiez Castle, a 10th-century Swiss heritage site overlooking Lake Thun. You can walk through the castle halls and its decorative gardens, then enjoy a wine tasting on the terrace. Later, you'll cruise across the lake to Thun and return to Brig for a farewell dinner.
