Itinerary
- Day 1
Vytina
You'll arrive in Vytina and get settled into your accommodation. This is where your cycling adventure through the Peloponnese begins, so take some time to unpack and get your bike ready for the rides ahead.
- Day 2
Vytina to Tripoli
Your cycling journey starts with an uphill ride through the mountains heading to Alonistaina, one of the highest villages in the Peloponnese. From there, you'll continue along fir-lined country roads to Piana, a village with significant history from the Greek War of Independence. The day ends with a descent to Tripoli, the capital of the Arcadia region.

Tripoli
Today you'll do a circular cycling route through vineyards and apple orchards to reach Mantineia, an important ancient Greek city with archaeological remains you can see. Along the way, you'll stop at the Church of Agia Foteini and check out Kapsia cave, which has impressive multi-coloured stalactites and stalagmites. After that, you'll head back to Tripoli.

- Day 4
Tripoli to Paralio Astros
You'll cycle downhill toward the coast today. First, you'll visit Tegea to see a 10th Century Byzantine church that was built right over ancient theatre ruins. Then you'll ride through olive groves and small villages to reach the ancient city of Eva. The day finishes in Paralio Astros, a fishing village where you can walk around the harbour, check out the castle, or take a swim before dinner.

Paralio Astros to Nafplio
Following the Argolic Gulf coastline, you'll stop at Mili, a small seaside resort for a break. Next, you'll reach the archaeological site of Ancient Lerna (famous from the Hercules and Hydra legend) and then cycle to Argos, one of Greece's oldest cities, to see the ancient theatre. Your evening will be in Nafplio, a charming seaside resort where you'll stay for the next three nights.

- Day 6
Nafplio
You'll cycle through countryside filled with orange and lemon groves, passing the impressive castle remains of Tiryns, an important Eastern Mediterranean centre. Then you'll reach Bronze Age Mycenae, the legendary kingdom of King Agamemnon, and explore the site including the famous Lions Gate at the main entrance of the Acropolis. After that, you'll return to Nafplio for the evening.

Nafplio
A transfer takes you to Epidaurus, an ancient healing centre with a well-preserved theatre that's still used for plays during summer. You'll explore temples, porticoes, houses, shops and spas at this birthplace of medicine. From there, it's mostly downhill cycling through mountainous landscape and past large pistachio growing regions, bringing you back to the coast and Nafplio.
