Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your guide meets you in the morning before heading out on roughly a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. With the roof open for viewing, you'll see large elephant herds roaming northern Tanzania, along with giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes and gazelles across seasonal marshes and savannah dotted with baobabs. You'll reach Maramboi Tented Lodge by afternoon, where there's time to watch the sunset and sit by the campfire as the day winds down.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park - Day 2
Tarangire National Park to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, another game drive takes you back into Tarangire National Park. During dry season months (June through October), animals gather around the Tarangire River since it's the only permanent water source in the area. You'll stop at a picnic spot for lunch, then leave the park and pass through Mto wa Mbu, a multicultural town, before climbing to higher lands with views across the Masai Plains and Lake Manyara. After a photo stop, you'll head into the crater highlands where Ngorongoro Farm House sits within a coffee plantation surrounded by gardens.

- Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti
Today you drive into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into Ngorongoro Crater, where grass steppes and acacia forests hold nearly all the savannah species found across East Africa. Extensive game viewing gives you chances to spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard). After a picnic lunch in the crater, you'll leave the highlands in the afternoon and head toward the Serengeti. By evening you'll reach Seronera Valley in central Serengeti and settle in at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp for the next three nights.

- Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Game viewing fills this day in Serengeti National Park as your guide takes you to the best wildlife spots. You'll see elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, topi, and both Grant's and Thomson's gazelles. Seronera Valley offers solid game viewing throughout the year. The Serengeti and Kenya's Masai Mara together host the planet's largest animal migration. You're based at Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp.

Serengeti to Arusha
If time permits, an early morning game drive gets you out before breakfast. After eating at the lodge, your guide takes you to the airstrip where you'll board a small aircraft for the flight back to Arusha, bringing your safari to an end.
