You'll arrive in Rome and get settled into your 3-star hotel. The day is yours to wander around at your own pace, so take a stroll through the city streets to get a sense of what's around. This gives you time to adjust and start getting familiar with Rome's layout and character.

Rome to Sorrento
You'll head to the train station after breakfast and catch the high-speed train to Naples, which takes about an hour. Your private driver meets you there and takes you to Sorrento. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is open for you to explore the town on your own.

Sorrento
This morning you can choose how to experience Sorrento's famous lemons. You might walk through narrow lanes with a local guide learning about lemon cultivation and visit a cheese and limoncello factory, or alternatively, take a tour of a traditional lemon garden to learn about the region's signature oval lemons and how they're used in cooking.

Sorrento to Florence
After eating breakfast, your driver takes you to Naples railway station for the high-speed train to Florence, a 3-hour journey. The streets will take you past the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and other major landmarks you'll want to see.

Or, if you prefer art, head to the Accademia Gallery with skip-the-line access to see Michelangelo's David and hear the story behind this masterpiece.

Venice
Today offers choices for discovering Venice beyond the main tourist areas. You can take a motorboat out to Murano, Burano and Torcello to watch glass-blowing and see the colorful fishing village houses. Or join a walking tour through Piazza San Marco, the opera house and Rialto Bridge. If you'd rather stay close, an intimate gondola ride through the canals is another option.
