Johannesburg to Ohrigstad
A driver picks you up in Johannesburg and heads toward Ohrigstad through changing landscapes. Along the way, you'll stop to take in views of the Drakensberg Mountains. By sunset, you'll raise a glass of Amarula at your lodge to toast what's ahead.

Panorama Route and Graskop
This morning takes you along the Panorama Route where you'll see Blyde River Canyon and Bourkes Luck Potholes. After that, you'll walk through Graskop to get a feel for everyday life there. Head back to the lodge for dinner later.

Kruger National Park Safari
A full day in Kruger National Park on an open jeep means searching for the Big Five: elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo, and leopard. You'll watch for lion families at water sources, buffalo herds, and elephants. Back at the lodge, you'll wind down watching the sunset.

Johannesburg to Eswatini (Ezulwini Valley)
You'll travel into Eswatini through open country, stopping at roadside fruit stalls along the way. Your lodge sits in Ezulwini Valley. In the evening, head to a traditional cooking event where you'll have a meal prepared right in front of you by local hosts.

Eswatini Culture and Markets
Start with a craft project where you'll learn about work done by local women. After that, the market gives you a chance to see colors, smell spices, and meet people. Later, go to Mantenga Cultural Village to watch traditional dances and songs in and around round huts.

Eswatini to St. Lucia
Head back to South Africa toward St. Lucia, taking in landscapes and stopping for breaks along the route. In the afternoon, walk along the beach and feel the sand. Settle in with a cold drink and relax.

St. Lucia Wildlife Parks
Early on, you'll ride through Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park in an open vehicle looking for elephants, rhinos, and giraffes. In the afternoon, take a boat through the Wetlands Park lagoons searching for hippos and crocodiles.

St. Lucia to Addo

Addo to Knysna via Tsitsikamma
Rise early for safari in Addo Elephant National Park, then drive to Tsitsikamma where ancient forests meet wild coast. Hike out to Storms River Bridge. In the afternoon, high tea with Ingrid includes homemade treats.

Knysna to Oudtshoorn
Drive to Oudtshoorn with a quick stop at Knysna Heads. Once settled, visit an ostrich farm to see these big birds up close. If interested, try ostrich meat and port wine later that evening.

Oudtshoorn to Franschhoek via Cango Caves
Morning brings Cango Caves with stalactites and stalagmites. Then head toward Franschhoek, passing through Seweweekspoort Gorge. Stop in Montagu to taste local dried fruit. Arrive in Franschhoek surrounded by vineyards.

Franschhoek to Stellenbosch to Cape Town

Cape Town City
