Start your Dublin adventure with a hop-on, hop-off bus tour that takes you through the city's Georgian architecture and along the River Liffey, with stops at the historic O'Connell Street. You'll have a voucher to pick one major attraction: the Guinness Storehouse where you can pour your own pint at the Gravity Bar, Teeling Distillery, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, the GPO Museum, or Jameson Distillery Bow St. Plan dinner on your own this evening and explore Dublin's restaurant scene at your own pace.

- Day 2
Dublin to Wexford
Pick up your Hertz rental car and head south toward Wexford. On the drive, you might detour to Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains to see the monastery ruins founded by St Kevin in the sixth century, which include old churches, Celtic crosses, and a round tower. Arrive at your hotel in Wexford, which overlooks the harbor. The town has medieval character, and if time allows, explore the National Heritage Park or Johnstown Castle nearby. Dinner is at your hotel this evening.

Leave Wexford and drive toward Killarney, stopping along the way if you choose. The House of Waterford or Blarney Castle are options, where you can climb up to kiss the Blarney Stone for the legendary gift of eloquence, or walk through the castle gardens. Later you'll arrive in Killarney. Have dinner at your hotel this evening.

Killarney

Head to your hotel and have dinner there this evening.

Galway

- Day 7
Galway to Dublin
Drive east from Galway back to Dublin. Along the way, stop at Clonmacnoise to walk through the sixth-century monastery ruins, which include a cathedral, nine churches, two round towers, and three high crosses that offer a sense of how important a learning center this once was. Arrive at your Dublin hotel. This evening head to the Abbey Tavern in the seaside suburb of Howth for dinner with traditional Irish music, song, and dance.
