Itinerary

Kathmandu
Start the day with breakfast before heading to Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you'll walk through centuries-old Malla dynasty architecture. From there, you'll get to Swayambhunath Temple (the Monkey Temple), which holds both Hindu and Buddhist shrines on its hilltop. In the afternoon, drive over to Pashupatinath Temple sitting along the Bagmati River. This temple ranks as one of the most significant sites dedicated to Lord Shiva. End your day at Boudhanath Stupa, one of South Asia's largest stupas. You'll find over fifty Tibetan monasteries surrounding the stupa, which gives the whole area a distinctly spiritual atmosphere. Plan for a full day covering these major UNESCO World Heritage Sites across the city.
