Itinerary
- Day 1
Ngorongoro Crater
Head out to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a full day of game drives. You'll stop for a picnic lunch by the hippo pools while searching for rhinos, elephants, lions, and other wildlife throughout the day. The crater offers great birdwatching too, with flamingos, pelicans, and Egyptian geese around the lake. Late afternoon brings the drive back up the crater rim to Rhino Lodge for the night.

- Day 2
Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll drive to Serengeti National Park with a stop at Olduvai Gorge to learn about early human history and fossil discoveries by the Leakey family. Once you enter the Serengeti, the focus shifts to searching for migration herds and resident wildlife including buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, lions, baboons, and zebras. You'll spot various bird species throughout your drives. That evening, you stay at Thorntree Camp for an authentic African experience.

Serengeti National Park
You have flexibility on how to structure this Serengeti day. Option one is an early morning game drive, returning for breakfast and downtime before a sunset drive. Option two keeps you out all day with a picnic lunch at a designated spot. Either way, all meals are provided and you'll spend another night at Thorntree Camp.

- Day 4
Serengeti to Arusha
Start early with a final game drive in the Serengeti, then begin the long drive back to Arusha town, arriving late in the evening. Airport transport and one night at an arranged hotel are included as part of your tour.
