Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Sapa
Your hotel pickup happens in central Hanoi between 6:30 and 7:00 AM, then you'll drive for about 5 hours to reach Sapa. Once you arrive, grab lunch before heading out on a 4 km trek southwest to Cat Cat village where the Black H'mong people live. During this trek you'll pass by a waterfall and see an old French colonial hydroelectric station from the colonial era. After getting back to your hotel and cleaning up a bit, dinner's around 6 PM. The evening is yours to wander through Sapa's night market and try some street food if you're interested.

- Day 2
Sapa to Hanoi
Eat breakfast at the hotel, then trek 6 km southeast through Muong Hoa valley to reach Y Linh Ho village. From there it's another 2 km to Lao Chai, a H'mong village where you'll take part in a cooking class and share lunch with a local family. After that you'll walk through the terraced rice fields heading to Ta Van village, where you can learn about the Dzay minority and how they live and build their homes. Around 2 to 2:30 PM a limousine picks you up from Sapa for the drive back to Hanoi, arriving between 8:30 and 9:00 PM.
