Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho
You'll leave Ho Chi Minh City heading toward My Tho, starting at Vinh Trang Pagoda to get a sense of the local spiritual culture. From there, a boat takes you along the river where you'll see stilt houses and fruit plantations up close. After that, you'll reach Tortoise Island for lunch and get to experience how rural families actually live and work. There's time to sample seasonal fruits and try honey tea while listening to traditional music, then you'll take a rowboat through the narrow creeks for a different perspective. Once you walk through a fruit plantation and the surrounding village, you'll head toward Can Tho for dinner and spend the night there. The whole day balances tourist highlights with real interaction with local life.

Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City
This morning starts early with a boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market, which is where the serious wholesale action happens with fruit and vegetable sellers. You'll cruise through the smaller channels afterward to visit a rice noodle making village and see how that's actually produced. Lunch happens before you head back to Ho Chi Minh City, so you're looking at a focused morning and early afternoon focused on the market and local production.
