Kathmandu to Lukla
Your helicopter tour kicks off from Kathmandu with a scenic flight across the valley, passing through Nagarkot hill and Jiri Alpine forest before touching down at Lukla. You'll grab breakfast once you land, then check out Tenzing Hillary Airport, which is known as one of the world's most dangerous landing strips. While the helicopter refuels, you'll have time to walk around and see why this airport is so notable.

Lukla to Kala Patthar
After the helicopter refuels at Lukla, you'll fly over Namche Bazaar, the main market hub in the Khumbu Region, and pass the old Tengboche Buddhist monastery, Pheriche, and Khumbu Glacier. The helicopter lands at Kala Patthar viewpoint, where you get a full 360 degree view of the Khumbu mountains and Mt. Everest itself. You'll spend about 20 minutes here because the altitude creates risks for spending too much time at that elevation.

Kala Patthar to Everest View Hotel
From Kala Patthar, the helicopter flies through Everest Base Camp and lands at Everest View Hotel, one of the highest luxury hotels on the planet. You'll have lunch here while looking out at the surrounding mountains and Mt. Everest. The setting makes for a memorable meal, and you'll have time to take in the views from the hotel.
