Rovaniemi
You'll arrive at Rovaniemi Airport and get transferred to Vaatunki Wilderness Resort. After settling into your modern panoramic hut, there's time to wander around the surrounding arctic wilderness or just relax and get ready for what's ahead.

- Day 2
Rovaniemi
This morning you'll meet your husky team and learn how to handle a husky-drawn sleigh before heading out on a husky run safari through Lapland's winter landscapes. Both of you get a chance to drive, and then you'll warm up with cookies and hot drinks. By evening, head to the resort's private riverside sauna or hot tub to unwind and enjoy the river views.

You'll take a reindeer sleigh ride through snow-covered forests and spend time in a traditional Finnish kota teepee. Learn about reindeer herding while you have hot drinks to stay warm. After that, the rest of the day is yours to do what you'd like, and if conditions look right, you can try hunting for the Northern Lights.

This day is completely open for you to explore Rovaniemi however you want. Stay at the resort and check out nearby hiking trails and local activities, or head into the city center to see Santa's Village. Shuttle buses are available through reception if you need them.
