Highlights
- Hiking on historical paths: In Northern Italy, the Via Augusta leads through vineyards and orchards, but often also on so-called ‘Waalwege’. These old irrigation systems only exist in this shape in South Tyrol.
- Reschenpass and mystical Lake Resia: You will find one of the most photographed motifs on the first days of your hiking holiday: the sunken church in Lake Resia.
- Mild climate and snow-covered mountain peaks: While you hike the Via Augusta in the sunshine, you can enjoy spectacular mountain views of the snow-covered Ortler massif.
- South Tyrolean cuisine: Apples from the Val Venosta Valley and wine from Caldaro are just two examples of the aromatic products from South Tyrol. Taste your way through the culinary offerings!

Customer Reviews
- Joelle· September 30th, 2024Hello, we are delighted with our trip, which enabled us to see some fabulous cities while enjoying our favorite activity, walking. The app that guided us was particularly efficient and gave us confidence. The organization was impeccable, and the hotels perfect. Until next time.Show more
- Martina· May 9th, 2025Hotel choices were great, walking routes were challenging at times due to gain in elevation but what goes up must come down so that helped! Beautiful to experience the peace and tranquility of the countryside.Show more
- Aidar· March 24th, 2025Well organized, no hiccups, beautiful scenery, good exercise (!), great hotels. I've enjoyed the trip quite a lot, there's nothing much to add here, really. One minor thing is that there was a bus pickup location specified towards the end of one of the hikes, it would've been nice to get picked up given you're in unfamiliar territory rather than fumbling your way around and hoping you get on the right bus and go where you're supposed to.Show more
