Highlights

Hiking on historical paths: In Northern Italy, the Via Augusta leads through vineyards and orchards, but often also on so-called ‘Waalwege’. These old irrigation systems only exist in this shape in South Tyrol.
Reschenpass and mystical Lake Resia: You will find one of the most photographed motifs on the first days of your hiking holiday: the sunken church in Lake Resia.
Mild climate and snow-covered mountain peaks: While you hike the Via Augusta in the sunshine, you can enjoy spectacular mountain views of the snow-covered Ortler massif.
South Tyrolean cuisine: Apples from the Val Venosta Valley and wine from Caldaro are just two examples of the aromatic products from South Tyrol. Taste your way through the culinary offerings!

Hotel choices were great, walking routes were challenging at times due to gain in elevation but what goes up must come down so that helped! Beautiful to experience the peace and tranquility of the countryside.

Well organized, no hiccups, beautiful scenery, good exercise (!), great hotels. I've enjoyed the trip quite a lot, there's nothing much to add here, really. One minor thing is that there was a bus pickup location specified towards the end of one of the hikes, it would've been nice to get picked up given you're in unfamiliar territory rather than fumbling your way around and hoping you get on the right bus and go where you're supposed to.

- For any tour departing before December 2nd, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 2nd, 2025, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Eurohike. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
