Arrival in Negombo
Your personal driver meets you at the airport and takes you to Negombo Beach, just 15 minutes away. You can jump straight into the pool or relax on the sand to recover from travel. If you're feeling up for it, wander around Negombo's old town, check out the harbor, and walk through a local fishing village.

- Day 2
Colombo to Tangalle via Coastal Train
Start early and head to Colombo Central Railway Station for a scenic train ride along the South Coast to Matara. You'll pass through spots like Bentota, Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, and Mirissa on the way. Your driver follows with your bags and meets you at Matara Station, then it's a short ride to Tangalle, where quiet beaches and a unique ecosystem are waiting.

Tangalle Local Exploration
Work with your driver to explore around Tangalle. You can visit local villages, find good spots for swimming or diving, check out the Mulkigigala Rock Temple Monastery, see the Hum Manaya blowhole, and stop by a Turtle Hatchery. There's plenty to see depending on what interests you most.

Tangalle Free Days
You have flexibility to explore the Rekawa and Tangalle area on your own. Public transport, tuk-tuks, or taxis can get you to nearby attractions like Yala National Park, Udawalawe National Park, or the Temple City of Kataragama. Your driver comes back on Day 7, but the hotel staff can help arrange trips while you're on your own.

Return to Airport or Extension
After breakfast, your driver returns and you head toward the airport. Along the way, pick either the Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, one of Sri Lanka's oldest bird reserves, or Galle Fort, a UNESCO site from colonial times. That wraps up your tour.
