- Day 1
Liberia
Your driver meets you at Liberia International Airport and helps with luggage and customs. From there, you'll head to your hotel in Liberia, the capital of Guanacaste province on Costa Rica's north pacific coast. This is where your adventure on the sunny side of the country begins.

Liberia to Arenal
Today you travel toward the Arenal area for a three-night rainforest stay. Driving through Cañas town and climbing the Guanacaste Mountain range, you'll notice the temperature dropping as the landscape shifts green with forest. A guided nature walk lets you see the different ecosystems in the area and get your first look at Arenal Volcano. After hiking, you'll soak in the hot mineral springs before sitting down to dinner.

Arenal
This morning brings a canyoneering adventure at La Fortuna waterfall. You'll start with a manageable 10-ft waterfall to get comfortable, then move to the second largest waterfall before tackling the signature 200-ft rappel down. Your guide provides all equipment and instruction as you rappel, jump into pools, downclimb canyon walls, and hike through rainforest. By afternoon, lunch waits at a restaurant right by the El Salto Swimming Hole on the Fortuna River.

Arenal to Guanacaste
Today involves a 3-4 hour drive to Guanacaste, taking you to an area known for its beaches and Dry Tropical Forest. The road itself offers nice views as you move toward one of Costa Rica's best destinations if you're interested in nature.

Landmarks/POIs Dry Tropical Forest - Day 6
Guanacaste
You'll board a catamaran departing from Coco or Tamarindo beach and head out to isolated beaches and snorkel locations. Throughout the day, watch for dolphins, whales, sea turtles, tropical fish, and manta rays in the water. The crew handles refreshments while you participate in guided snorkel tours and swimming that works for all skill levels. As the sun sets, you'll sail back to shore.

Your driver picks you up from the hotel lobby for the transfer to Daniel Oduber LIR International Airport. Make sure everything's packed before heading down to meet them.
