You'll arrive at Cape Town International Airport and head to your hotel, which has views of Table Mountain right from your room. The rest of your day is open, so settle in and get comfortable. Later, you'll join a local dinner at a Cape Town restaurant to start getting a feel for the food scene.

Landmarks Table Mountain - Day 2
Cape Town
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll start a full-day Cape Point Peninsula Tour. You'll drive through the city center and pass by historic landmarks, then check out Castle of Good Hope and St. George's Cathedral. Next, you'll walk through the Malay Quarter before stopping at Shimansky Jewelers for a guided diamond mining tour. From there, head to the V & A Waterfront to browse around. By evening, you'll have seafood dinner at a seaside restaurant with Atlantic Ocean views.

You'll have breakfast, then join a full-day Cape Point Tour starting at 08:30 and running until 17:00. You'll walk through Table Mountain National Park with its rugged cliffs, then take the Flying Dutchman funicular up to the lighthouse. After that, head to Boulders Beach to see the penguins, and spend time at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before getting back to your hotel by evening.

If you're interested, there's an optional guided tour to Robben Island that covers the island's 500-year history, including the Maximum-Security Prison, Robert Sobukwe's house, and Nelson Mandela's cell. It's up to you whether to join or relax at the hotel.
