- Day 1
Airport to Kandy
An English-speaking chauffeur will pick you up at the airport and drive you to Kandy. Depending on your arrival time, there's a chance to stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage along the way if timing works out. You'll have dinner at your hotel in Kandy where you're staying for the night.

- Day 2
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Start the morning with a city tour of Kandy, including the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. After that, you'll head toward the cooler hills of Nuwara Eliya, making stops to walk through tea plantations and a tea factory, plus see Ramboda Waterfalls. You'll learn how Ceylon tea is made and get to try a cup before checking into your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Horton Plains and Nuwara Eliya
You'll wake early with a packed breakfast and head to Horton Plains National Park at 7,000 ft elevation. Spend time walking around the grasslands there. By evening, head into Nuwara Eliya town and relax by Gregory Lake, taking in the surrounding landscape and views.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella
After breakfast, you'll board one of Sri Lanka's most scenic train routes from Nuwara Eliya to Ella. The journey takes you through towering mountains, tea plantations, waterfalls, and hill country views as the train winds slowly through the landscape. You'll arrive in Ella and check into your hotel.

Ella Sightseeing
Following breakfast, you'll check out Ella's main attractions like Mini Adams Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge. Then you'll do an adventure hike up Ella Rock, where you can take in the scenic viewpoints and natural surroundings throughout the walk.

Ella to Sinharaja Rainforest
After breakfast, you're heading to Sinharaja Rainforest, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for biodiversity. You'll spend the full day walking through the jungle, seeing wildlife, and taking in the natural environment. Accommodation is at a camping site or hotel within or near the rainforest.

Sinharaja to Yala National Park Safari
After breakfast, you'll travel to Tissamaharamaya. In the evening, a jeep safari takes you into Yala National Park, Sri Lanka's second largest at 979 square kilometers. You'll look for various wild animals throughout the park. You're staying overnight at a hotel in Tissamaharamaya.

Yala to Galle
