Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu to Chitwan
You'll leave Kathmandu and head to Chitwan National Park, where you'll start with a jungle tour briefing to get oriented. In the afternoon, walk through a local Tharu village and check out the National Park Visitor's Centre to learn about the area's wildlife and conservation efforts. Later, you'll watch the sunset from the Rapti River bank, which is a nice spot to wind down. The evening has a cultural dance performance or slideshow about Chitwan's history and ecology before you have dinner.

Landmarks Chitwan National Park Rapti River - Day 2
Chitwan
This is an early day, so breakfast happens at 6:30am after you wake up at 6:00am. You'll go on a canoe ride along the Rapti River and then do a jungle walk, and you might see elephants bathing on the way back. Lunch is at 1:00pm, then you head out for an elephant safari in the afternoon to see more wildlife from a different vantage point. You'll return to the lodge for dinner in the evening.

Landmarks Chitwan National Park Rapti River - Day 3
Chitwan to Pokhara/Kathmandu
Before heading out, you'll visit the Elephant Breeding Centre to see how young elephants are raised and trained. After that, you'll take a tourist bus back to either Pokhara or Kathmandu, depending on where you're heading next in your trip.
