Lee· November 22nd, 2025This was well organised with the hotels, transfers, tours etc. however, DO NOT travel in November, the tourist season is over and 90% of Santorini and Mykonos are closed. We had 2 tours and 1 ferry cancelled due to this, they shouldn’t run the tour this time of year. The islands are beautiful. The hotel in Athens, Syros & Mykonos are good, the Santorini one have not one thing near it open that time of year and should be in Fira, the island of Crete is beautiful however the hotel is 30 minutes from the main town, with everything closed in November around the hotel, we had to hire a car to actually go anywhere that was open. I am sure May-Sept would be a better time to do this tourShow more

It listed accommodations with addresses and telephone numbers so that folks at home could contact us. There were sections on ferry service, transfer information to and from hotels, flight tickets, and important telephone numbers and tips. There was a ferry problem that I caused but Chrysta and her people swung into action and we were back on track in 3-4 hrs. All in all, the Dot.Travel people were very helpful. We chose a self-guided tour so that we could travel at our own pace and not slow down a larger group. All of our ferries, taxi transfers, hotels (with breakfast) and flight from Crete back to Athens were included. Everything went so smoothly and easily with zero issues. The Dot travel reps were so amazing…answered all of our questions and changed a couple of hotels to suit our travel wishes. They have curated some incredible hotels and work with such professional taxi transfer companies I highly recommend this tour to those who (like me) stress about the logistics of many ferries/transfers and also if you would enjoy the freedom to do what you like with no set daily schedule. Especially the acropolis tour and caldera tour In Santorini! The tour company was easy to communicate thru what’s app ! It truly was a trip of a lifetime ! Also I highly reccomend traveling in September the weather wasn’t too hot and the crowds were way less ! Flying into Athens two days early gives you more time to see pretty much all the historical sights ! All of our transfers went smoothly on the ferries and drivers were very nice !
