Itinerary
- Day 1
Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
You'll be picked up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam this morning and driven to Mikumi National Park, arriving around lunchtime. After eating, head out on afternoon game drives where you can spot elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, hyenas, buffalo, and wildebeest, plus over 300 bird species. The day wraps up with dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge.

Mikumi National Park
Following breakfast, you'll spend the full day on game drives throughout Mikumi National Park with a packed lunch included. The park's woodland, swamp, and grassland habitats support saddle-bill storks, hammer kops, malachite kingfishers, monitor lizards, and pythons. Two main water holes at Mkata and Chamgore are good for spotting animals. You'll return for dinner and another night at the lodge.

Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam
After an early breakfast, you'll head back toward Dar es Salaam with a game drive along the way. The route takes you through Morogoro Town where you'll stop for lunch before arriving in Dar es Salaam in the early afternoon.
