- JSJose· May 8th, 2025Tour was ok. Got to see most sites listed in itinerary. For some reason I was told I need to pay for a hotel in Lucknow which was not listed in the itinerary. Upon requesting we stick to the tour I had to pay a cancellation fee for Lucknow and pay for an "extra" night at Agra. Not something that I find ideal but I didnt want to ruin my experience and just paid. Our driver Bablu was very friendly, has limited english which was ok but there was a time I had a disagreement with the guide provided in Agra and Bablu couldnt assist. Driver in Delhi seemed like he was forced to take us and even swapped cars with another driver to return us to the airport. No guide was provided at Delhi, just the driver. Without the guide we had no sense of time and missed out on visiting some sites. We were not offered rickshaw ride and tonga ride as stated in brochure. Varanasi boat ride was very uncomfortable as the motor was vibrating the whole boat and very noisy. Also note that it is not stated that entry to sites is excluded, but you will need to pay for all entry (which is ok, I was just not prepared as the brochure did not mention it was excluded) Vikas the Varanasi guide was excellent Ali the Jaipur guide was excellent Agra guide was rude and tried to get us tied up in an expensive photo package at the Taj Mahal. He also took us to "factory" which i requested not to take me and I wanted to go back to the room. He took us anyway and the shops were very aggressive in their sale. All the accomodation was good and we were mostly comfortable.Show moreTrip date: April 2025
