- Day 1
San Jose
You'll arrive in San Jose and head to your hotel to get settled in. This evening there's a welcome dinner where you'll meet the rest of the group and your tour leader, so it's a good chance to get to know everyone before the adventure starts.

San Jose to Tortuguero
The journey takes you across Costa Rica from west to east, traveling toward Tortuguero National Park on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive, you'll board a river boat for a two-hour wildlife spotting trip before reaching the lodge in time for lunch. The afternoon is yours to spend relaxing by the pool, kayaking, or wandering around the hotel grounds.

Landmarks/POIs Tortuguero National Park Caño Blanco - Day 3
Tortuguero
After breakfast, you're heading out on a boat tour through Tortuguero National Park to look for monkeys, birds, macaws, marine turtles, crocodiles, jaguars, and sloths. Following lunch back at the lodge, you'll check out Tortuguero town and the Caribbean Conservation Center, then take a walk to Tortuguero beach. If you're interested, there's an option to take a taxi boat back to town later in the evening.

Tortuguero to Arenal
An early breakfast gets you ready before boarding boats back to Caño Blanco port. From there you'll transfer to the Arenal Area, stop for lunch at El Ceibo restaurant, and continue on to La Fortuna where you'll catch your first sight of Arenal Volcano.

Landmarks/POIs Arenal Volcano La Fortuna - Day 5
Arenal
You'll explore La Fortuna and hike to the 230-foot La Fortuna Waterfall through the forest. Next comes a tubing adventure down a 500-meter course (there's a shorter 180-meter option if you prefer). After that, you're relaxing in the naturally heated hot mineral springs and Jacuzzis at The Springs before heading to dinner there.

Arenal to Monteverde
Following breakfast, you'll take a 40-minute pontoon boat ride to Río Chiquito on the other side of the lake, then drive for about 1.5 hours to Monteverde. In the afternoon, you're experiencing ziplining through the cloud forest canopy at Sky Trek, which includes suspension bridges and multiple platforms high above the treetops.

Monteverde to Manuel Antonio
You'll spend a few hours hiking through the Monteverde reserve, then transfer to Manuel Antonio. After checking into the Parador Resort and Spa, you can choose between three pools overlooking the Pacific: an infinity pool with a swim-up bar, an adults-only pool, or an infinity pool with a waterfall and Jacuzzi.

Landmarks/POIs Monteverde Cloud Forest Manuel Antonio - Day 8
Manuel Antonio
You can either sleep in or take a 2.5-hour nature walk in the morning to see local plants and animals while learning about Quepoa Indian history, ending with fresh local fruits and refreshments. The rest of the day is open for the white sand beaches of Manuel Antonio, where you can try surfing, relax, kayak, or parasail. There's free shuttle service available. Tonight the group heads out to explore the local nightlife together.

You'll have breakfast whenever you like and can spend free time at the hotel and beach before transferring back to San Jose. Your farewell dinner tonight is at a local Costa Rican restaurant.
