- Rodrigo· July 20th, 2023The guides in Rabaul were utterly kind and helpful, a bit late but I reckon that's due to their local culture. Also, I would have appreciated some help from the organiser in Port Moresby airport to take the domestic flight to Rabaul. Anyway, I had a very good time in the mask festival and in Papua New Guinea with the fantastic people I met over there. Buena tuna! (Thank you in Tolai language).Show more

Asked on March 23rd, 2024so we fly to the capital of PNG to start this tour? Seems a four day tour is not worth the flight. If I wanted to go to New Zealand I must make my own plans, correct? I'm just getting a feel for this trip as PNG has been on my radar for at least seven years, having explored most of the rest of the world.

This tour starts and ends in Mount Hagen so you would need to co-ordinate flights into Mount Hagen airport to meet the tour. If you wish to fly to New Zealand from Papua New Guinea, I would encourage you to look at including any domestic tickets within Papua New Guinea on the same ticket as your international ticket to New Zealand. This will make the domestic flights much more economical.

Asked on February 23rd, 2023do you also have any other departure dates, maybe earlier this year?
- Crooked CompassOperator•Written February 2023
The Mt Hagen Show and Kenu and Kundu show are Cultural festivals that the locals hold at these set times each year and we host groups of travellers to come along to the festival and celebrate with the locals.
