Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

You'll arrive in Kathmandu and head straight to your hotel to get settled. Take this time to shake off travel fatigue, grab some food if you're hungry, and get oriented to the city. By evening you can explore the neighborhood around your hotel or just rest up for the hiking days ahead.

    Start point
Tribhuvan International Airport, त्रिभुवन विमानस्थल, Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal (Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu Nepal)
  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu to Chisopani

Early start at 8:00 am with a drive out to Sundarijal. From there you'll begin hiking through Shivapura National Park, working your way up toward Chisopani at 2200m/7218 feet. The hike takes around 6 hours with terrain that gets progressively steeper as you gain elevation. You'll spend the night in this mountain village, so bring layers since it gets cool at altitude.

    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Included Activities

    • Drive to Sundarijal
    • Hike to Chisopani crossing Shivapura National Park
    • English-speaking trekking guide
    Landmarks

  3. Day 3

    Chisopani to Nagarkot

Wake up early to catch sunrise from Chisopani, where you can see panoramic views across about 20 snow-covered peaks in the distance. After breakfast, you'll hike for roughly 7 hours along a more straightforward trail down to Nagarkot. The path is fairly direct, so it's more about steady walking than technical climbing. You'll overnight in Nagarkot, another mountain settlement with its own set of views.

    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Included Activities

    • Sunrise viewing from Chisopani with panoramic mountain views
    • Hike to Nagarkot
  4. Day 4

    Nagarkot to Kathmandu

Start this morning watching the sunrise again, this time from Nagarkot where the Mount Everest Range is visible on clear days. After eating, you'll trek down to Changunarayan to visit an old Hindu temple there. From there you'll drive back down to Kathmandu for your final overnight, giving your legs a break after the previous days of hiking.

UNFORGETABLE AND AWESOME TIME IN NEPAL WITH SANTOSH !!! This trip was full of surprises and relaxation. We had an amazing time and I can recommend it to everyone who is staying in Nepal. Especially in the low rainy season it is extraordinary how many peace you can find up in these hills. The trekking is available for all ages and not that exhausting, but amazing and beautiful instead.

It was my first visit to Nepal and as a solo traveller. The team from Nepal Trekking Company has done a marvellous job to ensure that my safety, logistics and lodging was organised properly. The guides were helpful, friendly and were always on the lookout for my well-being which I deeply appreciate. Their considerate mannerisms and assurance allowed me to quickly settle into the place by my first night which was an achievement in itself. I strongly recommend the team to anyone considering a holiday there.
