Monselice - Galzignano
Cycling starts today along the canalside path heading to Este, a medieval town with pastel-colored buildings, a 14th-century castle, and a Tiepolo altarpiece inside the cathedral. From there, you'll continue to Monselice to see its converted medieval castle, then follow the canal past 19th-century Villa Italia before reaching Galzignano for the night.

Villa Barbarigo
This morning you'll ride a scenic circular route to Arqua Petrarca, a village that's remained largely unchanged since the 1370s when the poet Petrarch lived here. After visiting his well-preserved house, you'll pedal through vineyards to Villa Barbarigo at Valsanzibio to see the region's best-maintained 17th-century Italian gardens.

Montegrotto Terme - Teolo
You'll cycle through vineyards to Battaglia village for wine tasting, where you can try the local Serprino frizzante wine. The route continues through the spa towns of Montegrotto Terme, then you'll visit the pre-Palladian villa at Luvigliano before cycling upward to Teolo, a charming hilltop village where you'll stay.

Teolo
Today offers flexibility. Explore Teolo itself, a former Roman settlement that later became a 15th-century summer retreat for Venice's doges. Walk through the surrounding Euganean Hills for 360-degree views, or consider day trips to Padua for Giotto frescoes or to Venice for St Mark's Square, gondolas, the Bridge of Sighs, the Doge's Palace, or the Peggy Guggenheim Exhibition.

San Martino - Villaganzerla
After a 1km climb from your hotel, you'll enjoy an exciting freewheel descent through the Euganean Hills to San Martino's medieval castle. Then you'll cycle along the Bacchiglione River to Cervarese Santa Croce for a relaxed lunch, continuing into wine country to reach Agriturismo L'Albara. If it's June through early September, you can take a dip in the pool before dinner.

Vicenza
You have the option to relax by the pool or cycle along a cycle path to Vicenza, known as 'Venice of the Terra Firma'. If you go, explore the city's Palladian architecture including La Rotonda villa, the Basilica Palladiana in the main square, and the Teatro Olimpico. Taking the bus is fine if you prefer not to cycle this leg.

Vo Vecchio - Agriturismo Il Feudo
You'll cycle the Strada del Tocai Rosso wine road, the only area outside Hungary where red Tocai grows, passing through villages each with their own Venetian campanile. After crossing the plain to Vo Vecchio with its network of canals, you'll cycle through vineyards with views of the Euganean Hills, ending back at Gabriella and Alessandro's farmhouse for your final dinner.
