While the travel industry worldwide continues to evolve through technology and AI, one theme was clear throughout the day: in Costa Rica — like much of LATAM — in-person relationships remain at the heart of how business gets done.
The event featured honest conversations around growth, visibility, and traveler trends. Operators expressed strong interest in expanding offerings beyond Costa Rica’s most well-known destinations, eager to showcase new regions and experiences to a global audience. TUI, among others, highlighted upcoming new itineraries in under-explored parts of the country.
Though AI is on everyone’s radar, most local operators shared that their use of tools like ChatGPT remains limited. Many expressed appreciation for TourRadar’s data-driven features and third-party integrations that make advanced technology more accessible as they continue to focus on building trust with travelers and partners.
