What people love about Western Europe Tours for Young Adults
- London to Rome (Start London)
Susie is a absolute beauty. Tour was great but should pay for more activities upfront avoiding scramming for money from terrible bank fees and sketchy European bank machines.
- Mamma Mia! - 13 Days/12 Nights
Take the trip! We look our two adult children with us and this was a trip of a lifetime for us all! Worth every single penny! The memories are priceless and they are still talking about it two years later. If you want to take the vacation without worrying about figuring out transportation and lodging in a foreign country...this is the trip for you! Though not always exactly what we expected, the nuances were part of the charm. Like I said...TAKE THE TRIP!!!!! You won’t regret it!
- 10 Day Wild Irish Experience - Small Group Tour
Great tour with a focus on the fantastic west side of Ireland. Before our overnight stay our guide always told us some of the good places to eat and some nice pubs to visit at night. It was very good to see that when the surfing activity could not happen because the weather was too good to go surfing (who knew that could happen in Ireland) a replacement paddle boarding activity was quickly arranged. Highly recommended.
What our customers ask about Western Europe Tours for Young Adults
What are the most popular destinations visited on Western Europe young adult tours?
The classic European circuit covers Paris, Rome Amsterdam Barcelona and Berlin. Tours blend time in these major cities with visits to smaller gems. You'll spend your days exploring well-known spots like the Eiffel Tower and evenings discovering local neighborhoods. Many tours include detours to places like the wine cellars of Beaujolais or the pintxos bars of San Sebastian. Accommodations such as the Yellow Hostel in Rome put you right in the center of the action. A TourRadar reviewer shared: "Our guide took us to all the must-see attractions but also showed us amazing local restaurants and neighborhood spots we never would have found on our own."
How much money should I budget for a Western Europe young adult tour?
Plan for USD 200-300 per day on a standard 10-14 day tour. This covers the basics: your bed transport between cities some meals and guided activities. Take Contiki's 10-day European Horizon tour at USD 249 daily as an example. Set aside extra for optional activities (USD 30-120) meals (USD 15-30) and personal expenses. A TourRadar reviewer noted: "The included activities and meals provided great value while having flexibility to choose optional excursions based on my budget."
What's the best time of year to take a Western Europe young adult tour?
Summer brings warm weather and peak crowds from June through August. Better deals and shorter lines await in spring (April-May) and fall (September-October). Paris and Rome shine in springtime while the French Riviera beckons in early autumn. A TourRadar traveler mentioned: "We went in September and it was perfect - still warm enough for the beach in Barcelona but not as crowded or expensive as summer."
What's the typical accommodation style on Western Europe young adult tours?
Expect a mix of shared hostel rooms (6-8 people) budget-friendly hotels and local spots like camping villages. Contiki's European Quest tour shows the standard setup: 21 nights in hostels and 3 in hotels all near city centers. Properties like the Holiday Inn Express Paris - Canal de la Villette offer simple clean rooms. As shared by a TourRadar traveler: "The accommodations were basic but clean and well-located - perfect for young travelers who want to spend more time exploring than in their rooms."
What are the best social opportunities to meet other young travelers in Western Europe?
Group activities create natural ways to make friends from shared dinners in Paris to evening walks through Barcelona. Popular hostels like Generator in Paris and Barcelona serve as social hubs. Wine tastings in Bordeaux and city tours bring the group together naturally. A TourRadar traveler mentioned: "Our tour guid was so good felt so safe the whole trip gave us wonderful tips and great information. Let us play icebreaker games that help formed lifetime friendships with the other members."
What transportation is used between cities on these tours?
Modern coaches with WiFi and power outlets handle longer routes like Paris to Barcelona. Scenic train rides often connect cities especially through Switzerland. Within cities you'll use a mix of metro systems and walking tours. A TourRadar traveler confirms: "The coach was always clean and comfortable making even longer journeys enjoyable."
