This was my first trip with G Adventures and I couldn't have been happier. The whole trip was well organized and communicated well from the beginning, including comprehensive pre-departure trip details and very helpful packing list. Our tour leaders for the Serengeti (Kevin and Johnson) knew the area extremely well and exactly where to look for each animal, so that we were successful in seeing the Big 5 and more! They were also a blast to be around and made the participation camping experience a smooth one. Based on my experience I would definitely book another G Adventures trip again and will likely do so within the next year to a new destination!

I did my Tanzanian Safari with Nico of Tanzania Wildlife Adventures. He was well prepared, fun and a professional driver. We felt safe and well cared for at all times. He freely shared a lot of information about Tanzania; people, culture and the parks, animals….etc while driving as well as the attraction site. He knew the parks well and took us to all the nice points where we could best view the animals or landscapes. He was always patient and friendly, taking the time to answer all our questions. My recent 10-day Kenya Lodge Safari with Exciting Africa Holidays Ltd, covering Amboseli National Park, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Masai Mara, was an absolute dream come true. Led by the remarkable guide Onesmus and expertly coordinated by the efficient office manager Albert, every moment of this safari exceeded expectations. Our journey began with the awe-inspiring vistas of Amboseli National Park, where the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro served as a breathtaking backdrop to our wildlife sightings. From herds of majestic elephants roaming freely to graceful giraffes silhouetted against the golden sunset, Amboseli left an indelible mark on our hearts. Next, we ventured to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where we had the privilege of encountering endangered rhinos up close, including the magnificent northern white rhinos. The conservation efforts at Ol Pejeta are truly inspiring, and witnessing these incredible animals in their natural habitat was a humbling experience. Lake Nakuru National Park welcomed us with its vibrant pink hues, courtesy of the thousands of flamingos gracing its shores. The park's diverse birdlife, including pelicans, marabou storks, and African fish eagles, captivated us at every turn. We were also fortunate to spot elusive leopards and endangered Rothschild's giraffes during our game drives. Our journey continued to the tranquil shores of Lake Naivasha, where we embarked on a boat safari, gliding past grazing hippos and basking crocodiles. Exploring the nearby Hell's Gate National Park on foot was a thrilling experience, as we hiked amidst towering cliffs and dramatic gorges, with sightings of zebras, gazelles, and baboons along the way. The grand finale of our safari was the world-renowned Masai Mara, where the sweeping grasslands teemed with wildlife at every corner. Under the expert guidance of Onesmus, we witnessed the Great Migration in all its splendor, as thousands of wildebeest and zebras thundered across the plains in search of greener pastures. Our encounters with the Big Five were nothing short of extraordinary, from close encounters with lions to observing elusive leopards lounging in the acacia trees. Throughout the safari, Onesmus's passion for wildlife and deep knowledge of the local ecosystems enriched our experience beyond measure. His keen eye and expert tracking skills ensured that we never missed a moment of the action, from elusive predators on the prowl to rare bird sightings hidden amidst the foliage. Behind the scenes, Albert's meticulous planning and seamless coordination ensured that every aspect of our safari ran smoothly, from transportation to accommodation. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel welcomed and cared for at every step of the journey. In conclusion, my 10-day Kenya Lodge Safari with Exciting Africa Holidays Ltd was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that surpassed all expectations. When is the best time to go on a 10-day safari?

You'll likely spot the "Big Five" - lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo - plus countless other animals. How long are the daily game drives?
You'll spend about 4-6 hours per day looking for wildlife, usually split between early morning and late afternoon when animals are most active. Morning drives start around 6:30 AM, and afternoon drives begin about 3:30 PM and go until sunset. Some places, like Mara Sopa Lodge, also offer night drives where you can spot nocturnal animals.
