What value for money you get on this tour, such expertise with a qualified Egyptologist. A great overview of this ancient civilisation! Totally felt safe the whole time we were there. They country really needs the tourist as it has dropped dramatically since January 2011 from the revolution. The people are friendly and welcome the visitor. Although there are the hagglers at the various tourist spots our tour guide was able to give us great advice on all circumstances and had all the bases covered. Take the sleeper train for sure, pay the extra dollars. And although you pay the entrance fees extra it really adds up in total to approximately $100.00 Aud extra per person and when you see how much you see, it's a small price to pay, loved Egypt, love the Expat experience and off to Europe this week with Expat and you get discount for second tour booked.
Everything was very well organized. The staff was very helpful and flexible at whatever needs we had. Not even once we felt unsafe. Highly recommend even for the kids...we came with two (8 and 13) and they both loved it. Memorable experience ..... Thank you Timeless Tours!
