About Australian Surf Tours

Sick of life as city slickers, two mates put everything on the line to follow the dream of surfing, sun and adventure. They quit their corporate jobs, burned their suit and ties and started what today is known as Australian Surf Tours. It sounds like a cheesy movie doesn’t it?? But this one is a real story! Armed with the idea of combining the love of surfing with the love of the Australian outdoors and a lot of passion, Sam, Jason and a couple of side-kicks set about creating a unique experience that all travellers will love. After the first two years, a couple of European Summers gathering information and a lot of hard work, the dream of owning and operating a successful Surf Camp started to come true. Now AST operates Surf Camps out of two locations on NSW’ beautiful South Coast and runs a Surf School in Shellharbour for children, teenagers and adults wanting to learn how to surf.
