What people love about 2-week Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam tours
- Bangkok to Saigon by Bike
All aspects great. Exceeded expectations. Especially liked the surprise Home Stay. My only suggestion would be for day two where we did the 10km climb from the dam to the waterfall. Maybe give people the option of riding down the hill rather than up. On our tour several people were too tired after the long climb to walk the steep stairs to the waterfall. Maybe drive to the waterfall first, let people enjoy the falls, then an easy ride down the hill.

Is, the tour guide made the trip. She was awesome. She did an excellent job at teaching us about the three countries we visited.
- Cambodia Adventure
This tour was excellent! There's a really nice mix of cultural enrichment (the temples were amazing!), relaxing, socialising, and partying (if you so choose -- totally optional.) Most of the tour is in Cambodia which is a somewhat challenging destination and some may have a tough time with the basic amenities and visible poverty. But if you open your mind to the experience, it's an incredible place to visit full of smiling, friendly people and gorgeous scenery. This tour has a really nice balance of included and optional activities, so you can decide what you want to do and how active you want to be. I highly recommend the boat/snorkelling option at Sihanoukville as well as the bike ride across the bamboo bridge -- so fun!! Be prepared: some of the hotels on this itinerary are pretty basic. A few have no lift, so sometimes you're hoofing it up several flights of stairs. (Be sure to talk to your guide about your room assignment if this is a problem.) There were some cold showers and breakfasts were generally average at best. But everywhere was safe and clean and acceptable. I cannot say enough nice things about our guide Ly. He was so funny, kind and honest. Cambodia has a very troubled recent history and he didn't hold back sharing stories about it. But at the same time, his pride in his beautiful country was totally infectious. Ly made sure we were safe and taken care of from start to finish, and laughing the whole time. A truly amazing guide! Usually when I travel, I can't wait to plan my next trip to somewhere new, but with Cambodia, I dreamt of going back as soon as I left. It's a really special place.
