- Days 1-2
Madrid
Begin your trip in Spain's vibrant capital. Visit the Royal Palace early before the crowds build up. Take time to explore Retiro Park in the late afternoon when locals enjoy their traditional evening stroll. For the best local tapas experience, visit La Latina neighborhood after 8 PM - remember that Madrid locals eat dinner quite late.
- Days 3-4
Granada & Costa del Sol
- Days 5-6
Fes
Take the 75-minute ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar and travel through the Rif Mountains to Fes. You'll need a local guide to navigate the medina's winding streets. Visit the tanneries in the morning before the leather scents become too strong. Book accommodation inside the medina for the most authentic experience.
- Days 7-8
Marrakesh
Travel through the Atlas Mountains on a 7-hour scenic drive to Marrakesh. Watch Djemaa el-Fna square come to life at sunset from a rooftop café before exploring on foot. Visit the souks before 10 AM to shop without crowds. Take a quiet break at Jardin Majorelle when you need to escape the busy medina.

- Days 1-2
Madrid, Spain
Start in Madrid and take time to adjust to the time zone. Visit the Prado Museum when it opens at 10 AM - "The Prado Museum was incredible - get there when it opens at 10 AM to avoid the crowds." In the evening head to Plaza Mayor when it's cooler and locals gather for tapas. Look for accommodations near Retiro Park for easy access to main attractions and public transport.
- Days 3-4
Salamanca & Fátima
Take a scenic drive through Castile with stops in medieval Segovia and Ávila. "The wine tasting at Hacienda Zorita was a highlight - this 14th century monastery overlooking the river is magical." Continue to Portugal to see the famous shrine at Fátima. Plan about 3 hours for the drive from Salamanca to Fátima.
- Days 4-6
Lisbon & Surroundings
Stay in Lisbon's historic Belém area. A recent visitor shared: "Watching sunset from the Monument to the Discoveries was unforgettable." Get to Jerónimos Monastery first thing before the tour groups arrive. Take a side trip to see the cork forests in Azaruja. Portugal makes 50% of the world's cork and you can tour the fascinating factories.
- Days 6-8
Seville, Spain
Head back to Spain and into Andalusia. The drive from Lisbon takes about 4.5 hours through beautiful countryside. Pick accommodation near the Santa Cruz quarter for walking convenience. What people love about 2-week Morocco and Spain tours
- Iberian Discovery & Morocco
The only Place we didn't like was Tangier . Walking tour is a waste of time everything is closed the place is dirty in general , flies , roaches , trash everywhere. The Hotel Hilton was the only nice thing
- Delve Deep: Spain, Portugal & Morocco

- Moroccan Capitals, Seville and Lisbon
Loved Morocco best. Nice places to visit, but I would not recommend doing all three together and not with Europamundo. You spend too many hours on buses and in August English speaking interpreters are inadequate. When it comes to emergency communication from both Tour Radar and Europamundo be forewarned ; you may end up paying to things included in your tour package. Definitely did not like the fact that Europamundo tour guides routinely dropped us off in some cities and tell us to find our way back to our hotels; mind you I am 72+ years of age. Do the cities, but choose another operator.
