21 Day Kenya Safari Itinerary, incl. Masai Mara and Amboseli
A 21-day tour through 11 major Kenyan destinations unfolds from Nairobi's Giraffe Center to Neptune Paradise Resort in Diani. Wildlife viewing in Samburu and Maasai Mara highlights this comprehensive safari, featuring stays at luxury lodges like Sweetwaters Serena.
- Days 1-2
Nairobi
Begin in Kenya's capital city. You can start your safari experience right away at Nairobi National Park at 6:00 AM. Since it's the only national park in a capital city, you won't spend much time traveling from your hotel. Visit the Elephant Orphanage during morning care time and stop by the Giraffe Center to feed Rothschild giraffes. Book your elephant orphanage visit early because spots fill up fast in peak season.
- Days 3-4
Aberdare & Samburu
Take a 4-hour drive to Aberdare National Park. The Ark Lodge offers excellent wildlife viewing at night from its lit waterhole. Head north to Samburu (4 hours away) to see unique wildlife like Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe. Animals are most active in early morning and late afternoon when it's cooler.
- Days 5-6
Ol Pejeta & Lake Nakuru
- Days 7-9
Masai Mara
This is Kenya's premier safari destination. Spend three full days here for the best wildlife viewing. Game drives start at 6:30 AM and you'll need warm clothes for chilly mornings. From July to October, stay near the Mara River to watch wildebeest crossings. One visitor noted: "Set your alarm for sunrise game drives—we saw more predator action in those early hours than the entire rest of the day."

- Days 16-19
Mombasa Coast
Relax at Shanzu Beach. Swim during high tide and go snorkeling in the morning when the water is clearest before the afternoon winds start.

Twelve days. A lifetime of memories. Ecovibe Millennials Safaris transformed my perception of safaris. This wasn't just a wildlife encounter; it was an immersive journey into the heart of Africa, coupled with a profound respect for the environment. From the moment we stepped off the plane, the experience was remarkable, we were enveloped in an aura of adventure and sustainability. Grace meticulously planned our itinerary and allowed us to witness the raw beauty of Kenya, from the bustling Masai Mara to the serene Amboseli. I had travelled with my family and she offered a well organized, intimate and personalized safari, with ample opportunities to connect with our knowledgeable guide and each other. The accommodations were thoughtfully selected and blending comfort with eco-friendliness. The game drives in the parks were simply breathtaking. We encountered an abundance of wildlife - from the majestic Big Five to a diverse array of birds, Unique five, Ugly Five, and other fascinating creatures. Our guide's Jim, expertise shone through, as he skillfully tracked animals and provided fascinating commentary on the delicate ecosystems we explored. What set this safari apart for us, however, was the focus on immersive cultural experiences. We had the privilege of visiting local villages, cooking local meals, Milk cows, spinning wool and interacting with community members, and learning about their traditions and way of life. These encounters fostered a deep appreciation for the rich tapestry of African culture and the importance of sustainable tourism. Overall, the EcoVibe Millennials Safari exceeded my expectations. It was a perfect blend of adventure, education, Cultural Exchange and environmental awareness, leaving me with a renewed sense of connection to the natural world and a greater understanding of the importance of responsible travel. I would highly recommend this safari Company to anyone seeking an authentic and enriching African experience.
