What people love about South East Asia Tours in June
- Endless Beauty of Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand - 19 Days
The tour logistics were different to what we were expecting. We did not have one tour guide who traveled to all the places with us, but instead, the transfers and guides are all handled by Legend Travel and continuously change as you travel from one place to the other. I liked it because we still got to have some free time to ourselves. In most places, we had our own personal tour guide however we did not enjoy it as much when some of the tours ended up being a group of approx 30 people (Hue + Mekong Delta). The max amount should have been as stated upon booking - 8 people. Some of the tour guides were a little stubborn and we did not visit all the places mentioned in the program (For example - watching sunset at Angkor Wat). Ms Thy in Hoi An was the loveliest of all. The transfers were usually made in a minivan with AC. Drivers did not speak English at all but it did not really matter. On the other hand, the guides that showed us around could speak English. Water and fresh towels were provided by our tour guides at various places. Mr Danny was our customer care agent and we needed to call him a number of times since no one turned up for us in Hue and Bangkok + a missed city tour upon arrival in Phuket (which we were quite upset that we missed considering we only had one day), however, all was resolved and we were told that we will get compensated for the city tour (still waiting for refund). Our suggestions: Less time in Hue, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok. More time in Hoi An and Phuket.
- Best of Indochina - 16 Days
The tour quality and guide standard varied hugely vetween countries and cities. On the whole a well organised trip, and generally good accommodation. In particular the Hanoi city tour was not a good use of time and the guide not very informative . Would recommend, though personally I would do a group tour next time as I spent a lot of time alone, particularly in the evenings.
- 31-Day Southeast Asia Adventure: Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia
I had so many amazing experiences on this tour. There were so many interesting activities and opportunities to learn about the beautiful countries we visited. It is tiring being on the road but it's always so worth it. The accommodation (perhaps apart from one or two nights) was very comfortable. I would advise people to come with an open mind and to think positively when things aren't what they're uses to at home. Our guides were absolutely lovely and hard-working people. The group was very close. I did struggle with the volume and frequency of nights out being one of the eldest in the group. I'd maybe preferred some optional night activities rather than so many pub and bar crawls (it sometimes feels like a party holiday). I would have substituted a night in Ho Chi Mihn for an extra night in Hoi An- that would have been a lot more enjoyable. Overall, this trip was absolutely incredible and I'll never forget it.

One TourRadar traveler observed "The occasional rain actually enhanced the temple experience making the ancient stones glisten and creating dramatic photo opportunities." Early day visits help avoid afternoon weather.
