What people love about South East Asia Tours in June
- Southeast Asia Discovery: Seasides and Street Food
The tour was very well organized and all externally guided tours were fun too. Ratha is very keen to make everyone‘s experience the best. He gives very interesting information about his home country (cambodia) as well as other visited countries. I felt very safe the whole trip. I can only reccomend this tour, money well spent!
- Treasures of Southeast Asia In 11 Days (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand)
Memorable experience! I was able to not only see lots of beautiful places (especially Halong Bay and Angkor Wat) but also made new friends. It was my solo trip and I felt totally safe and comfortable when being a part of different group of visitors because we all shared interests in Thailand and Vietnam culture. Another important thing to note is the transport. I was worried at first due to my carsickness, however flights, buses and cars were so comfortable. I will definitely be back for another tour with the company!
- Highlight of Southeast Asia in 10 Days - Halong Bay/ Siem Reap / Bangkok
Our Guides were very knowledgeable. We had a group tour (around 20 people) in Vietnam and private tour in Cambodia and Thailand. There is a lot of walking- so bring comfy shoes. Most days we took advantage of a massage at the day's end, as they are very inexpensive and there are plenty of locations to pick from. Our hotels were very nice and clean- we did upgrade to 4 star hotels. The food was delicious and plenty of variety for a vegan traveler. We opted for a cultural dinner and show in Siem Reap and dinner on the 84th floor at the Bangkok Sky Tower. Favorites were overnight stay on the bay, the floating market, and wandering the neighborhoods near our hotels. Overall a great experience and many things to see and do.

What is the weather like in South East Asia during June?
Southeast Asia's June climate shifts from region to region. Travelers to Halong Bay find temperatures hovering around 30-32°C with brief rain spells. Bangkok sees 32-34°C readings with predictable afternoon storms while Luang Prabang stays slightly cooler at 28-30°C with steadily increasing rainfall. A TourRadar traveler noted "Despite some afternoon showers in June the weather was still perfect for cruising in Halong Bay and exploring temples in Siem Reap."
What are the best locations to visit in Southeast Asia during June?
The central and northern regions of Vietnam shine in June. Hanoi's historic streets and Halong Bay's seascape are best explored via established operators like Aquamarine Cruise or Paradise Sails. The elegant Sofitel Luang Prabang serves as a strategic base for temple visits. G Adventures travelers report: "June was perfect for exploring Hanoi's Old Quarter and taking day trips to Halong Bay with fewer tourists than peak season."
Are there any special festivals or events in Southeast Asia during June?
June brings distinctive cultural celebrations across Southeast Asia. Thailand's Phi Ta Khon Festival animates the streets of Dan Sai while Da Nang lights up with its International Fireworks Festival. TourRadar reviews highlight: "The fireworks festival in Da Nang was an unexpected highlight of our June trip with amazing displays and local celebrations." Laos adds to the festivities with the Boun Bang Fai Rocket Festival featuring traditional competitions and performances.
What are the best indoor activities available in June?
The month presents opportunities for cultural exploration through cooking classes at Oodles of Noodles in Hoi An museum visits in Hanoi and modern shopping complexes in Bangkok. A recent visitor observed: "The occasional rain gave us perfect excuses to try amazing street food in covered markets and enjoy traditional massage treatments."
What's the accommodations situation like in Southeast Asia during June?
June's shoulder season status translates to favorable hotel rates. Premium properties like Hanoi's Apricot Hotel and Ho Chi Minh City's Myst Dong Khoi adjust prices downward. The Angkor Miracle Resort in Siem Reap becomes a welcome retreat during afternoon showers. According to a TourRadar guest: "We got great deals on hotels in June and the Apricot Hotel's facilities were perfect for occasional rainy afternoons."
What's the food scene like in Southeast Asia during June?
June marks peak season for tropical fruits and seafood. Fresh catches arrive daily in Halong Bay while Thailand's markets overflow with sweet mangoes for the classic sticky rice dessert. The Mekong Delta's orchards reach peak production. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The June fruit season made our food experiences incredible especially in the Mekong Delta where we tasted the freshest tropical fruits."
Is June a good time for visiting temples and cultural sites in Southeast Asia?
Morning hours in June provide ideal conditions for temple exploration with smaller crowds and clearer skies. Siem Reap's Angkor Wat complex takes on a special quality in early June light. The centrally located Apricot Hotel puts Hanoi's temples within easy reach. One TourRadar traveler observed "The occasional rain actually enhanced the temple experience making the ancient stones glisten and creating dramatic photo opportunities." Early day visits help avoid afternoon weather.
