What people love about South East Asia Tours in July
- Treasures of Southeast Asia In 11 Days (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand)
This tour was a great experience for us. It was private and very well organised with transportation. We did not have to worry about transportation from the arrival in Vietnam until the departure airport in Thailand. We loved the hotels we stayed and their locations in all three countries. We loved the boat trip experience in Vietnam and all the tours included. We loved our tour guides as well. They were very kind and knowledgeable. We highly recommend this trip!

Overall I had a wonderful trip and was taken good care of but I will provide the following feedback which has already been provided to Bravo Indochina Tours to help them improve their product and in turn the experience and expectations of future clients. Communication needs to be improved from the office. After the booking had been confirmed by TourRadar, I would have liked to have received something from Bravo IndoChina Tours acknowledging my booking. More attention must be made before sending out the actual trip itinerary, especially when using copy and paste from a previous client's itinerary such as checking that the dates and flight arrival information is correct. I am well traveled but was traveling alone for the first time. It was important to me that I had all of the arrangements in place before leaving. The many errors made on my actual itinerary, the changes made from the brochure information that I had based my booking on and the confusion over 3 of the 6 flights not being included in the price paid, caused me much unnecessary stress prior to departure and a lack of confidence in the tour operator. When I booked the tour, it was not clear to me that not all of the flights within IndoChina were included. It was only when I was asked for my flight information for the (International) flights between Thailand & Lao, Lao and Vietnam and Vietnam and Cambodia that I realized these were not included. It did not state in the brochure when describing flights which, if any of the flights were the traveller's responsibility, (I note that this has now been clarified by TourRadar the brochure). These three flights added costs to my trip and took time to make bookings, non of which which had been anticipated. It did not help that my actual itinerary continued to show under the inclusions "all domestic and international flights within IndoChina". Communication by the agents in Thailand and in Cambodia was excellent. I was advised ahead of time of daily tour pick up times. This was not the same in Laos. I had to call the agent twice in order to get the information for both tour days and for the airport transfer for my departure. In Vietnam I also sent reminders and requests for the information. All of this detracts from what should be a relaxing tour day when you're always worrying about getting information for that day or the next. None of the hotels advertised in the brochure were those actually booked. This was upsetting as I had reviewed everyone of their websites before I decided to book this trip. Also in the brochure the hotel room category was shown as Superior or Deluxe. This was not the case on my actual itinerary, the room category for every hotel was listed as Double/Twin, not the Superior or Deluxe that I had booked. All of the hotels were good with the exception of the hotel in Luang Prabang which was very disappointing and not of the standard expected - . The cruise line used for Halong Bay was also disappointing. The brochure stated that the cruise was operated by Bai Tho Cruises and advertised as a luxury cruise - I also checked their website before I booked. The actual cruise was operated by Sunlight Cruises on a very old boat in need of updates that I would describe as a budget cruise, certainly not what I expected when I booked - and certainly not luxury. The guide was not very experienced. The daily tours were all great and the tour guides excellent. The only tour I would have changed, had I had the option, was the Tonle Sap Lake tour from Siem Reap. The water in the river is so low at this time of year, I didn't find the tour very interesting. This tour would be much better in the rainy season, for that reason I would have much preferred to have visited the Cambodia Cultural Village instead.
- Treasures of Indochina 15 Days - Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos
I wrote this review at the airport and I don't want to leave now. All the things they have given to us are so perfect. This is my second time in Asia but the first time in Southeast Asia. Dat, my representative is the best person I have met and the services I have used. Trust me, he will be always available and give you the best if you need any support. It's one of the most important things you need to attention to when you traveled and I am so happy to meet him in Hanoi. Guide, accommodation, transportation are top-notches. I don't want to use another travel agent because I believe it's the best
