- Scenic Europe
Cameron Benson was an exceptional tour leader, and I cannot be more grateful that I decided to give this trip a try. I'm so grateful for all the wonderful people I met and for the chance to see so many beautiful places in Europe. I will never forget it!! My personal high light was the night we spent in The Italian Lake District. So breathtaking! I highly recommend this trip to anyone hoping to see some truly jaw dropping scenery! You'll be ooing and awwing the entire time!
- Western and Central Europe: Venice, the Alps & the Flavours of Rome
My first travel experience in a tour group and it was incredible! The pace of the tour was perfect, we were able to enjoy the places we stopped while still seeing a lot of variety. I also appreciated how much independence and free time we had to make our travel experience our own. Our tour guide Claudia was beyond amazing! It was incredible how organized and knowledgeable she was. She set such a fun and upbeat tone for the tour, and was able to connect with each traveller in a unique and meaningful way. She had spot on recommendations for whatever we were looking for, and really made the tour. Thank you Claudia and G Adventures!
- Highlights of Europe (Small Groups, All Seasons, Start London, End Paris, 15 Days)
Unbelievable trip! Very organized and well-planned. Brad (tour guide) and Max (driver) provided exceptional service! Brad was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Absolutely would recommend Insight Tours and can’t wait for our next adventure!

The Munich to Lake Garda bike route lets you experience both countries at just the right speed. You'll cycle along Lake Starnberg's clear waters and through the Murnauer Moos - actually the biggest marshland in Europe. Our cyclists always tell us how much they love riding through South Tyrol's wine country, passing orchards, vineyards and old castles like Hocheppan. There's also a great route through the Germanic areas, taking you from Forstenrieder Park to small Bavarian villages and along the Loisach river until you reach Garmisch-Partenkirchen. These trips usually run 8 to 11 days and we handle the luggage transport, so you can just focus on the ride and stop whenever you spot a nice cafe or viewpoint.
Take in the picturesque landscapes and remarkable sights on a guided Coach / Bus adventure of Germany And Italy. There are 7 vacation packages to choose from, that range in length from 8 days up to 27 days. The most popular month for these tours is May.
Our best-selling tour combines Munich and Venice over 10 days, giving you a perfect mix of structured activities and free time to explore. You'll get to know the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen, take relaxing boat rides around Lake Constance and dive into Habsburg stories in Innsbruck. Many of our travelers love the Alpine route from Munich to Merano - it takes you past that interesting sunken church tower at Lake Resia and follows Empress Sisi's old paths through Merano. We've noticed the tours with food experiences in Venice and Rome book up really quick - especially the morning market walks in Florence and those evening ghost tours in Venice where you can try local street food along the way.

The 10-day journeys between Munich and Venice pack in the best of both countries. You'll check out the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen, cruise around Lake Constance and wander through Mainau Island's tree gardens that go back 150 years. Some routes take a cool little detour through Liechtenstein - you'll hop on a city train past vineyards up to spots where you can see the 12th-century Vaduz Castle. The local guides in Innsbruck know tons of interesting Habsburg stories, which they share while showing you around the Golden Roof and Imperial Palace. Once you hit Italy, you're heading through the Dolomites to Cortina d'Ampezzo for cable car rides up Marmolada, then on to Verona for wine and cheese tastings with local producers. In winter, the routes switch focus to combine skiing in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, St. Anton and Alta Badia with cultural bits like learning to make pretzels and visiting Neuschwanstein Castle.
